
INGREDIENTS:
- 300g Beef mince
- 300g Sausage meat
- 1 Small brown onion, finely chopped
- 1 Garlic glove finely grated
- 2 Tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon ground black pepper
- 5 Sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
- 1 Egg, lightly beaten
- Sesame seeds
- Tomato sauce, to serve
METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Line baking tray with baking paper.
- Mix both minces, onion, garlic, tomato, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and seasoning together
- Cut pastry sheets in three. Roll a mince portion until 25 cm long.
- Place down the center of pastry
- Whisk egg and brush edges
- Roll up to enclose filling and cut into 6 pieces
- Place on trays, seam side down
- Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden
- Serve with tomato sauce
