Angus Beef Teppanyaki

This is sure to become a quick favourite dish for your household.

INGREDIENTS:

500gm Eye Fillet, sliced thinly
2 cloves garlic, crushed
¼ cup soya sauce
1 small red chilli
Assorted vegetables snow peas, mushrooms, capsicum, spring onions, bean shoots

METHOD:

Combine ginger, garlic, soy sauce and chilli in a bowl with the beef. Stand for 20 minutes
Arrange ingredients on a serving platter
Cook a selection of ingredients on a hot oiled grill plate until all vegetables are tender and beef is cooked to your taste
Continue cooking remaining ingredients throughout the meal
Serve in individual bowls with grated green apple and a wee bit of ginger at the bottom of your bowl, topped with rice and your chosen items off the hot plate

DIPPING SAUCE:

½ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon mirin
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
½ teaspoon sesame oil

Cook ingredients in a medium saucepan stirring until the sugar dissolves. Divide among individual bowls.
