Watergrasshill Angus Sausage Rolls
This is sure to become a quick favourite dish for your household.
300g Beef mince
300g Sausage meat
1 Small brown onion, finely chopped
1 Garlic glove finely grated
2 Tablespoons tomato sauce
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon ground black pepper
5 Sheets frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
1 Egg, lightly beaten
Tomato sauce, to serve
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line baking tray with baking paper. Mix both minces, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, salt/pepper and seasoning together.
- Cut pastry sheets in three. Roll a mince portion until 25cm long. Place down the centre of pastry, whisk egg and brush edges.
- Roll up to enclose filling, and cut into 6 pieces. Place on trays, seam side down. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 15 mins until golden. Serve with tomato sauce.
